Will There Be Krugman versus Murphy?

That's the question asked by the folks at CNBC (HT: Jeff Tucker). I certainly hope so. Murphy is an excellent economist who knows how to clearly and winsomely communicate sound economic theory and policy. He has written excellent work on the Great Depression and the New Deal and also on economic theory and policy that is both accessible and substantively contributes to the economic literature.
